Wow!

Yea, this was going to be my sort of journal/scrapbook/photo album, etc. Yep, that is working out great!

Well, this catch up is for me. If you get through this whole thing, you are a good friend!

Lets start with Christmas. Christmas in June. I know its weird, but I had to document atleast two exciting memories. One, I got a beautiful new ring from Vaughn. It is gorgeous and overboard, but I love it. He thinks he didn't ever get to really give me a wedding ring because I had mine all ready designed and he just ordered it. This one HE picked out. I love it. To bad he got shirts and pants! And the other exciting thing is we got a kitten. Yes, I have a pet. Someone drastically rewired my brain while I was asleep. As it turns out, I love it. He's a cutie. His name is Bella because Sasha wanted a girl kitty, and it does look girly all white with pink ears. Sasha as since figured out Bella should really be Bello. Here are a few Christmas pics.

Nothing of note in January except a failed diet. But February was exciting. Kyle got the Priesthood and for his birthday we flew to Orlando and went to the Universal Studios Amusment Park. I blogged that trip. Good times and memories.

Of course I do a lot of Court of Honor evenings. It is nice that both boys are in Boy Scouts and can go to Pow Wow's together.

April brought more than showers. We went to Thanksgiving Point with Shaun's Preschool class. That is always a fun place to spend the afternoon.

For Spring Break, we went to the Zoo. It had been years. A neighbor and I took the kids up for the day. The big kids had fun too, no matter what they say! Especially when we saw the Gorilla eat his poop. Sorry, no pictures. I do have a video if you are interested!

Birthday get together at Brick Oven. (Funny, Kaleb)
Kaleb got honored at school for his exceptional grades. I am very proud of him. He walks across the stage in style.
May also brought Fathers Day and Mothers Day activities at school with the kids. Love the tie!

And finally, the day after school let out, we jumped on a plane bound for Puerto Rico. It was the first time I or the kids had been there. We had a wonderful week of swimming, eating, swimming, eating, swimming, exploring the 500 year old fort, and swimming. Palm trees mean vacation!

Finding frogs and lizards was an every day treasure hunt!

Shaun got really good at wearing goggles and holding his breath under water. A little fish!

Beach Princess!

That fort really is amazing!

On our way to the dungeon!

Cool, artsy park in Old San Juan.

The bird man gives us some birdseed in the town plaza. Oh my gosh, look at that!

That was a fun, fun trip. The ocean water is warm and clean, visiting that fort was amazing, the old town interesting. Wish I was there!
Whew! Now, lets see how long it takes to blog again!
